Preparations
Well, here we are. Less than a week to go. Almost all preparations are done. Our suitcases are packed and ready by the door. Just have to get the cameras and electronic gear together. Batteries need to be charged and last preps added to the laptop.
Got my travellers cheques yesterday and got a GREAT rate on them. $1.14 Canadian for $1.00 US. Pretty amazing when you consider that not too long ago, a US dollar cost almost $1.60 Canadian.
Once we are enroute, the photos and video will start. I will post the occassional photo here if I can find a wireless connection for the laptop. Apparently the hotel has high speed internet connections in each room, but we will see.
The excitement is building!

Our hotel is advertising free wi-fi connection in the lobby and wired high speed access is included in the price in each room. We shall see. We will post updates, if we have access and give opinions on the hotel and restaurants and other attractions that we visit. Yes, I will name names ;-D
